Mancini<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>di\u00a0<strong>Avellino<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e8 andato avanti, con un\u2019altra annualit\u00e0 del\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hetor.it\/site\/pcto-mancini-avellino\/\"><strong>PCTO<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<strong>\u2013 percorsi per le competenze trasversali e per l\u2019orientamento<\/strong>. Durante questo percorso gli studenti si sono concentrati sulla valorizzazione del Museo della Matematica &#8211; Il Giardino di Archimede. Un punto di riferimento culturale non solo per Avellino ma per tutto il sud Italia.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019obiettivo di quest\u2019attivit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata di far aumentare negli studenti la consapevolezza del proprio territorio ed aiutare a diffonderne la conoscenza a tutta la comunit\u00e0. Il risultato finale \u00e8 stata la creazione di un <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hetor.it\/dataset\/museo-della-matematica-avellino\/resource\/bbe535c2-ce04-423e-bbdd-549ff52d5866\">dataset<\/a> <\/strong>riguardante le macchine matematiche custodite all&#8217;interno del museo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<script type=\"module\" museo della Matematica<\/h2>\n<p>Il giardino di Archimede di Avellino, gemello di quello di Firenze (presto a Pistoia), ha per fine la creazione di un museo matematico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Il Museo della Matematica il Giardino di Archimede, non vuole n\u00e9 potrebbe insegnare la matematica, allo stesso modo che un concerto non insegna a suonare il pianoforte. Come lo studio di uno strumento musicale richiede dedizione e sacrificio, lo stesso accade per lo studio della matematica: non si impara senza fatica. Di qui la distinzione di ruoli, ma anche la complementarit\u00e0, tra il museo e la scuola. Per quest\u2019ultima, il museo per la matematica pu\u00f2 svolgere, pur con le dovute ed evidenti differenze, un ruolo analogo a quello che i concerti svolgono per lo studio della musica. Come al concerto non si va per imparare la musica, cos\u00ec il museo non si visita per imparare la matematica: per questo, in un caso come nell\u2019altro, si va a scuola.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019altra parte per\u00f2, come non tutti sono musicisti, non tutti sono matematici; il museo servir\u00e0 allora per chiudere il fossato tra la matematica e i cittadini, un luogo in cui ci si possa avvicinare senza traumi alla matematica e alle sue idee pi\u00f9 importanti. Non un museo <strong>della<\/strong> matematica dunque, cio\u00e8 un museo dove dietro vetrine chiuse si esibisca una matematica polverosa e fossilizzata, ma un museo <strong>per<\/strong> la matematica, un luogo di incontro con le idee pi\u00f9 brillanti e feconde e di crescita della cultura comune.<\/p>\n<p>Naturalmente non tutti i visitatori si avvicineranno agli oggetti esposti con lo stesso spirito e con le stesse conoscenze. Bisogna allora organizzare le mostre che costituiscono il museo in modo che possano essere lette a diversi livelli. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 tanto pi\u00f9 necessario, dato che il museo si rivolge a spettatori di ogni et\u00e0 e di ogni livello di cultura, e non \u00e8 possibile discriminare il pubblico a seconda delle sue conoscenze e capacit\u00e0 matematiche. Ognuno deve poter usufruire delle strutture del museo al suo grado di cultura scientifica o semplicemente a seconda della sua disponibilit\u00e0 a seguire i percorsi proposti con maggiore o minore attenzione.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Il museo si configura come consorzio di universit\u00e0 ed enti pubblici. Attualmente sono soci del consorzio: La Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa; l&#8217;Universit\u00e0 di Firenze, di Pisa e di Siena; la Provincia di Firenze; l&#8217;Unione Matematica Italiana; l&#8217;Istituto Nazionale di Alta Matematica; il Consorzio Irpino per la Promozione della Cultura della Ricerca e degli Studi Universitari di Avellino. Il Consorzio ha sede in Firenze, presso il Dipartimento di Matematica &#8220;U. Dini&#8221;. Presidente del consorzio \u00e8 Enrico Giusti.<\/p>\n<p>Al termine del percorso gli studenti hanno realizzato numerosi prodotti al fine di promuovere la conoscenza del Museo stesso, come poster, immagini e articoli. Di seguito quello realizzato dalle <strong>studentesse della III D<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>De Mattia Tiziana, Grieci Federica, Festa Francesca, Guerriero Carmen, Mastroberardino Maria, Sellitto Alessia<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Hetor: il progetto<\/h2>\n<p>Lo <strong>scopo<\/strong> di questo progetto \u00e8 quello di valorizzare e promuovere il patrimonio socio-colturale della nostra regione, la Campania. Ad oggi tendiamo a dimenticare gli usi e i costumi della nostra terra cancellando, di fatto, parte della nostra storia.<\/p>\n<p>Proprio per questo Hetor si impegna, insieme alle comunit\u00e0 locali, alle PA e alle scuole, a non dimenticare (n\u00e8 tantomeno svalutare) le ricchezze che caratterizzano la nostra regione. D&#8217;altronde, \u00e8 importante sensibilizzare a dovere noi ragazzi che, in fin dei conti, non siamo altro che foglie giovani di alberi centenari, che affondano le loro possenti radici nella storia e si sa, un albero senza radici \u00e8 un albero malato. A volte percepiamo le tradizioni come cose obsolete, come una specie di <em>Mos Maiorum<\/em> dell&#8217;et\u00e0 moderna, ma sbagliamo: alcune di esse forniscono un&#8217;identit\u00e0 culturale e sociale che non possiamo e non dobbiamo trascurare.<\/p>\n<p>Ogni territorio ha delle usanze ed \u00e8 proprio questo il bello della nostra nazione: \u00e8 varia, \u00e8 colorata ed \u00e8 una bellissima Torre di Babele, dunque, perch\u00e9 mai appiattire queste speciali peculiarit\u00e0? Il fine di Hetor \u00e8 questo: non far smorzare la curiosit\u00e0 della cultura. Perch\u00e9, se il nostro desiderio di scoprire e d\u2019interessarci ai beni, ai capolavori, alle opere d\u2019arte e ai reperti storici muore, se la nostra voglia di capire, ammirare quel che rende la nostra terra cos\u00ec bella muore, allora anche tutta la meraviglia che ci circonda, muore. Di seguito elencheremo quelle su cui ha lavorato il nostro gruppo, presenti in due delle 4 sale del museo.<\/p>\n<h3>Nella <strong>sala 1<\/strong> troviamo:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ellissografo a croce:<\/strong> una delle macchine pi\u00f9 semplici esistenti per tracciare l&#8217;ellissi, la quale \u00e8 formata da due rette perpendicolari dove scorrono due punti con distanza costante, l&#8217;estremit\u00e0 di un segmento che passa per essi descrive un&#8217;ellisse;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ellissi di plexiglas<\/strong> <strong>che rotolano:<\/strong> due ellissi poste simmetricamente rispetto alla retta tangente comune con distanza costante tra i fuochi.
